Stainless-steel 310/310S is an austenitic temperature resistant alloy having higher resistance to rust under mildly cyclic factors through 2000ºF. This steel possesses a very high nickel and also chromium content that provides identical corrosion resistance, high resistance to metabolism and also preservation of larger fraction of room high temperature energy than the popular austenitic alloys like Type 304. Stainless steel 310 is frequently used at cryogenic temperature ranges, with outstanding toughness to -450°F, and lower magnetic permeability .Rust Resistance higher chromium content – designed to improve high-temperature properties also provides these grades very good aqueous corrosion resistance. The PRE is around 25, and sea water resistance around 22°C, much like that of Grade 316. In high-temperature service they expose good resistance to oxidising and also carburising atmospheres. Withstand fuming nitric acid at room high temperature and fused nitrates as much as 425°C.
