Made up of nickel-molybdenum-chromium with an incorporation of tungsten, Hastelloy C276 <\/strong>is a superalloy formatted to achieve exceptional corrosion resistance in a broad range of serious systems. The presence of high nickel and molybdenum elements provide the ability to resist pitting and crevice corrosion in reducing environments, while the chromium content enables to resist oxidizing agents. The less amount of carbon is to control carbon precipitation in the process of welding and helps to keep corrosion resistance in as-welded structures.
\nEventhough Hastelloy nickel alloy is available in various different forms, but Hastelloy C276 is by far the most successfully and widely used form.
