Incoloy 800, 800H, and 800HT are nickel-iron-chromium alloys with excellent strength and good resistance to rust and carburization in high temperature exposure. These types of nickel metal alloys are the same with the exception of the higher degree of carbon in alloy 800H, along with the addition of approximately 1 .20 % aluminum and also titanium in alloy 800HT. Incoloy 800 was the very first of the alloys also it was a little modified into Incoloy 800H. This customization was to regulate carbon (.05- .10%) and also grain size to maximize stress rupture properties. Incoloy 800HT have more modifications to the joined titanium and also aluminum levels (.85-1 .20%) to assure ideal high temperatures properties. The nickel alloy is double certified (800H/HT) and also includes the properties of both forms. Incoloy 800H/HT alloy was designed for high temperatures structural applications. The nickel content can make the alloys high resistant against both chloride stress-corrosion cracking also to embrittlement from precipitation of sigma phase. The common corrosion resistance is very useful. In the solution annealed condition, alloys 800H and 800HT include excellent creep and also stress rupture properties.
